Strategic Research & Ecosystem Design for Social Impact

This project focused on supporting small business owners in vulnerable neighborhoods of Madrid, using Lavapiés as a case study. The objective was to design an ecosystem that could increase visibility, access, and community trust for independent entrepreneurs whose goals often go beyond financial growth.
I contributed to both qualitative and quantitative research—conducting field interviews, synthesizing findings, and identifying key tensions between small business owners and their surrounding communities. The research surfaced barriers related to visibility, digital access, and institutional distrust.
Based on these insights, we proposed a strategic framework combining physical interventions, localized recommendation systems, and inclusive support models aimed at long-term resilience. My role also included shaping how each insight informed realistic, context-aware service solutions.
